Book Covers

I frequently design book covers. On some occasions I illustrate the cover myself; other times I use stock photography with permission and manipulate the images in Adobe Photoshop CS6. I also design the layout and typography to evoke a certain mood and suggest the book’s genre.

The book covers in the following row were designed for a complex fantasy series with strong romantic themes.

The book covers in the next row, on the other hand, were designed for a series of historical fiction short stories. Each cover incorporates figures from the ancient Bayeux Tapestry to represent themes from the corresponding short story.
